Which mobile phone models does the remote control support?

Android phones only need to support OTG (currently almost all Android phones support OTG)

Can the remote control control all home appliances?

Our gadget is compatible with over 90% of infrared home appliances, including most well-known brands. For unique devices, Android users can easily customize with our DIY learning function. (Currently, Apple phones are not supported.).

How far is the remote control?

The remote control’s range depends on the appliance’s reception, typically covering 8–15 meters for most household devices, fully meeting daily needs.

Is it necessary to align electrical appliances during the use of this product?

The remote control for mobile phones works the same way as traditional remotes. It must be aimed directly at the appliance without any obstacle in between.

The Apple mobile phone can be recognized after being plugged into the remote control, but why it cannot be adapted and the indicator light does not flash?

Turn off mono audio in your phone’s settings under General > Accessibility. This option is designed for individuals with hearing impairments in one ear and will not affect normal calls.

Why can't the Android phone be recognized after being inserted into the remote control or can't be used normally after being recognized?

  1. For OPPO or Vivo phones, turn on the OTG switch in Settings > Other Settings.

  2. For other Android phones, if you encounter similar issues, open the remote control wizard, go to My > Settings in the upper right corner, then Infrared driver settings > Device, and select USB.

Which app should I use?

iOS: Search and download “Uni TV Remote” or “ocrustar” in the App Store.

Android: Search and download “zaza remote” in the Google Play Store.

(Note: App names may vary. Search for “universal remote control” and choose the most downloaded app.)
